Chapter President
Arc. Dr. Gbolahan is the Principal Architect of Casting Crown Company Ltd, one of the leading Green Building companies and environmental sustainability practitioners in Nigeria. He is also an Executive Director of Infiniti Pointe Nigeria Ltd, an engineering, procurement and construction company. He also leads and mentor executive team, ensuring strategic collaboration and alignment across departments and communities at Engage Youth Africa Initiative – a pan-African youth focused not-for-profit organization, empowering underserved youths in African communities in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Namibia.
He is a versatile, licensed Architect, project management and sustainability consultant with experiences in green building design and construction, environmental sustainability, energy management and portfolio management spanning about two (2) decades. He has designed, consulted, managed and delivered many high-scaled projects; leading several cross-cultural project teams in the building & construction, mining, aviation and oil & gas industries. He is also a thought leader in Architecture and Sustainability, Leadership & Corporate Governance (with keen interest in organization transformation and business agility).
He is an international conference speaker, an adjunct lecturer at University of Lagos
Business School (ULBS), a UN Ambassador for World Peace with the UN Peace Initiative and PMI Global Construction Ambassador, Nigeria. He is the President of Project Management Institute (PMI) Nigeria Chapter. He served previously as the Vice President of Membership of the Chapter. He is a certified Green Building EDGE Expert, EDGE Auditor and EDGE Faculty with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) EDGE Program, a World Bank subsidiary program. He is also a certified Life Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), trained and mentored over 300 students, professionals and entrepreneurs globally in the past few years through PMI Chapter communities, UN SDSN, University Student Unions, Fellowships, Youth Groups, GPO Leadership Center and Engage Youth Africa Initiative programs.
He is a member of several local and international professional institutions and associations such as Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), America Institute of Architects (AIA), International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), Institute of Organization Development (IOD), Building Collapse Prevention Guild (BCPG), International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and Green Building Council Nigeria (GBCN).
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSc. Architecture) and a Master degree in Environmental Design in Architecture (MED Architecture) from the Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Lagos, Akoka respectively. Doctorate in Leadership and Corporate Governance from European American University, Executive Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology, USA and a double Executive Master degree in Project Management from Rome Business School, Rome, Italy and Valencian International University, Valencia, Italy. His research works and interest areas in Sustainability & Architecture, Strategic Project Management, Leadership and Theology include green building & green economy, business model innovation and strategic project management and Christological Anthropology.
